How we work
A disciplined process for every course
It is not luck. This is how the team operates on every course so the photos come back fast, complete and correct.
- Work out how many photographers are needed from the course map, the number of runners at each distance and each start time.
- Recruit photographers against clear requirements for experience, equipment and knowledge of running.
- Photographers survey the camera points before the event to choose angles and the best positions.
- Assign positions by time slot, with a photo target for each position.
- Agree the technical requirements and align camera settings; roll call and a settings check on every body.
- Collect the photos while still out on the course.
- A debrief after every race.
- Continuous work on skills and equipment.
Rules that never bend
- No sharing of work photos without the organisers' approval.
- No negative exchanges with runners on social media.
